Tell us about your journey that led you to where you are today.
My journey has been one of persistence, resilience, and continuous learning. I have always believed in pushing boundaries, challenging stereotypes, and creating opportunities, not just for myself but for others as well. Along the way, I have embraced both success and failure as part of the process, using each experience as a steppingstone to grow and evolve.
What are some of the challenges you faced along the way and milestones you achieved so far?
Like many women, I have faced challenges whether it was overcoming biases, proving my capabilities, or balancing multiple roles in life. Breaking through these barriers required confidence, mentorship, and a strong support network. Some of my key milestones include establishing my UAE branch and also developing my podcast ‘Expat Experts’ each of which has reinforced my belief that perseverance and a clear vision can drive meaningful change.
What according to you is an enabling environment and how does it empower you and by extension your work?
An enabling environment is one that fosters inclusivity, encourages diverse perspectives, and provides equal opportunities for growth. It is a space where voices especially those of women are heard, valued, and acted upon. When such an environment exists, it not only empowers individuals like me to thrive but also creates a ripple effect, enabling entire communities and industries to progress.
How are you enabling impact and what is the way forward?
Through my work, I strive to mentor young women, advocate for policy changes and help those going through such a traumatic time. The way forward is to expand this impact to reach more people, initiate more conversations, and break more barriers. My goal is to create sustainable change, ensuring that the progress we make today continues to benefit future generations.
What is your message for other women?
Believe in your abilities, take up space, and never let self-doubt hold you back. Support one another, because when women uplift each other, incredible things happen. Your voice, your vision, and your dreams matter. Pursue them fearlessly.
