Welsh Government Summit Event: Technology for Future Mobility…Powering, Protecting & Monetising

Members of BCC AD are invited to join The Welsh Government to attend its Summit Event at the UK Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Home to the world’s first Compound Semiconductor cluster, one of the UK’s top 10 emerging FinTech hubs, and one of the UK’s largest Cyber Security clusters, Wales delivers an infrastructure for technology companies to thrive.

Driving the movement to low carbon living and addressing the climate change crisis are priorities in Wales and Welsh Government policy. That commitment coupled with a strong heritage in advanced manufacturing and technology creativity is fostering an innovative and supporting environment for future product development, safeguarding through education and systems, testing and evaluation. Wales is undertaking leading research and developing manufacturing processes
in key areas such as Photonics, Quantum technologies, RF Communications, Power Electronics, Materials Science, Sensors, Packaging and Devices.

The event will showcase technology and cyber innovations in Wales with a focus on the Compound Semi-Conductor (CS) Cluster, Cyber Security, Fintech, and E Mobility and associated applications across Wales in support of the Carbon Agenda, driving the Electric Revolution, and the adoption of low carbon technologies.
